Y.O.U.R. Summer Program is an opportunity for The Baddour Center to partner with parents/family members of persons with intellectual disabilities to provide a unique respite. The summer program is a week-long event committed to providing participants a happy, healthy and rewarding summer experience in a safe, fun and inclusive environment. Persons between the ages of 16 and 35 are eligible to participate in the program.
Participants are offered opportunities:
While it has been a very difficult decision to make, our team feels the wisest choice at this time is to NOT host YOUR Summer Program in 2021. As everyone knows, there is still some uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic. In addition, the Master Plan renovation on Baddour’s campus leaves us without a home host site. Relocating the host site to a larger area such as the gym would not meet the exceptional standard we have provided in the past but more importantly it does not allow us to provide program participants with the respite experience they deserve and the family desires.
We look forward to the future when we can once again have the free-spirited and fun experience that The Baddour Center’s YOUR Summer Program was designed to be!
