Y.O.U.R. Summer Program is an opportunity for The Baddour Center to partner with parents/family members of persons with intellectual disabilities to provide a unique respite. The summer program is a week-long event committed to providing participants a happy, healthy and rewarding summer experience in a safe, fun and inclusive environment. Persons between the ages of 16 and 35 are eligible to participate in the program.
Participants are offered opportunities:
- to make new friends
- to tap into their unique talents and creativity
- to be challenged by exciting activities of play and leisure
- to create memories that will last forever
2023 Sessions:
While it was a very difficult decision to make, our team feels the wisest choice at this time is to NOT host YOUR Summer Program in 2023. The Master Plan renovation on Baddour’s campus, known as the Building the Best Life campaign, leaves us without a home host site. Relocating the host site to a larger area such as the gym would not meet the exceptional standard we have provided in the past, but more importantly, it does not allow us to provide program participants with the respite experience they deserve and the family desires.
We look forward to the future when we can once again have the free-spirited and fun experience that The Baddour Center’s YOUR Summer Program was designed to be!
